Welcome to Kalorie. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Kalorie mobile application and related services (the "Service") provided by Kalorie ("we", "our", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

Kalorie is not a medical service. The nutritional information, AI-generated suggestions, and goal recommendations provided through the Service are for informational and educational purposes only. They are not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making significant changes to your diet, especially if you have medical conditions, food allergies, eating disorders, or are pregnant or nursing. We are not liable for any health outcomes resulting from your use of the Service.
Our AI features (food recognition, nutritionist chat, meal suggestions) use machine learning models that may occasionally produce inaccurate results. Nutritional estimates from food photos are approximations and should not be relied upon for medical dietary requirements. Always verify critical nutritional information independently.
The Service, including its design, features, content, logos, and underlying technology, is owned by Kalorie and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our written permission.
Content you create (food logs, custom foods, photos) remains yours. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display it as necessary to provide the Service.

When using social features (challenges, shared meals, community posts), you agree to share only content you have the right to share. We may remove content that violates these Terms or community guidelines. We are not responsible for content posted by other users.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Data deletion follows our Privacy Policy.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kalorie shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, health outcomes, or interruption of service.
Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify and hold Kalorie harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes through the app or via email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
